An affordable substitute to down is polyester microfiber.  The poly fiber chosen for DownTown Company’s comforter is an extremely fine fiber that simulates feel and lofty properties of down.  Covered with a soft 100% cotton windowpane design tick.  Alpine comforters are suitable for those who may be sensitive to down and is machine washable.  Imported.
